Socio-Legal Aid

Socio-legal aid is an intervention model that is aimed to restore the principles of justice, equality, and equity in the criminal justice system in India. It is a holistic approach that integrates social aid and legal aid, addressing both the immediate and structural needs of marginalized communities.

Legal Aid includes free legal representation, assistance, counseling, and advocacy, ensuring that prisoners receive timely trials and humane treatment while also addressing issues of unlawful detention and legal rights violations.
